In the second free practice session of the day at the Red Bull Ring Joshua Duerksen (BWT Muecke Motorsport) lapped in 1:30.924, ahead of Van Amersfoort Racing’s American driver, Jack Crawford (1:31.071), while the Prema Powerteam driver and member of the ACI Team Italia, Gabriele Minì, was third in 1:31.103. Following him was English driver Jonny Edgar (Van Amersfoort Racing( in a time of 1:31.104, while Italy’s Francesco Pizzi (Van Amersfoort Racing) finished in 5th in a time of 1:31.220.
