While Gabriele Minì, the Italian Rookie driver and championship leader is always close to the top, Gabriel Oliveira Bortoleto, the Brazilian took the lead in Free Practice 2, where, on new tyres, he promises to do battle with the leader in tomorrow’s qualifying.
Minì (PREMA Powerteam) was fastest in FP1 (1:48.134), while Bortoleto topped the timesheets in FP2 (1:47.728). In view of tomorrow morning’s qualifying, starting at 09.30 local time, they are well ahead of Beganovic (1:47.999), Pizzi (1:48.123), Delli Giovese (1:48.392) and Fornaroli (1:48.406).
Among the new entrants in the championship the best was Barnard, who finished thirteenth with a time of 1:49.061.
