At Mugello this weekend, participation in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth remains very high, with five new drivers joining the pack.
Lorenzo Patrese, son of the former Williams, Brabham and Benetton (among others) F1 driver from 1977 to 1993, Riccardo, will be making his debut in the Italian F4 championship at Mugello. Alongside him will be in the AKM Motorsport team will be Barnard Taylor, the 15-year old English driver graduating from the OK kart category with the Rosberg Racing Academy team. In addition Francesco Braschi and the Mexican Santiago Ramos Reynoso step in at Jenzer Motorsport, and Vittorio Catino joins Cram Motorsport, all entering the rookie category.
As a result 30 drivers will be there at the start of the Italian F4 weekend at Mugello, reinforcing the championship as a preparatory category after the karting experience.
