Norris fastest in second session of TRS practice

Lando Norris could not match his morning time, but still headed the time sheet in the second practice session for the Toyota Racing Series at Hampton Downs this afternoon.

In hotter track conditions, nobody bettered their morning times as Norris was clocked at 60.472 seconds over two tenths slower than the morning.
Polish driver Antoni Ptak was the surprise package, going second fastest at 60.546, with Christchurch’s James Munro third with a lap of 60.651 seconds. Brendon Leitch who was fastest this morning was only ninth quickest.

The session was cut short when Pedro Piquet from Brazil who had recorded the fourth fastest time went off the track on the fast right hand bend at the end of the start – finish straight, without seriously damaging his car.
