KNAF Talent First Driver Richard Verschoor Commits to SMP F4 NEZ Championship

Richard Verschoor just turned fifteen on December 16th and has now confirmed his enrolment in the second season of the SMP F4 NEZ Championship certified by FIA. The Dutch driver has impressive records as since 2014, the young gun has finished on the podium of each category he has been competing in. He ended third in the prestigious CIK-FIA European KF Championship in 2015 and is now ready to step in single-seaters.

After few tests back in November, Richard Verschoor proved that he is ready to compete in the seven rounds championship and fight against competitive drivers who already know the car and the circuits.

Richard Verschoor commented: “I am very pleased to drive in the SMP F4 NEZ Championship this season. I think it is a good and competitive championship where I will learn a lot! We will work hard and see what it brings. I can’t wait to be in the car again.”

Maarten Van Wesenbeeck, KNAF Talent First Head of Educations: “We are delighted to have one of the most successful Dutch talents in the SMP F4 NEZ Championship in 2016. For a young talent like Richard Verschoor, choosing the F4 category certified by FIA is the right move to successfully step from karting to single-seaters.”

The KNAF Talent First driver will be at the wheel of the Tatuus-Abarth F4-2014 this weekend in Motorland for the first test of the season.
