GT Sport confirms 2016 GT Open and Euroformula
Date switch between Barcelona and Jerez
GT Sport today confirmed the 2016 calendars of its two series, the International GT Open and the Euroformula Open. With respect to the calendars previously announced, there is one minor change: the Barcelona and Jerez events at the end of the season switch their dates, for operational reasons.
The Jerez event (where only the Euroformula Open will be in action), is now scheduled for 29th-30th October, with Barcelona (the closing round for both the Euroformula and the GT Open) taking place on 5th-6th November.
Obviously, the change also applies to the partner series: the Formula V8 3.5 in both instances, the SEAT León Eurocup (Barcelona) and the Radical European Masters (Jerez).
The definitive 2016 calendar is as follows:
23rd-24th April, Estoril (P)
21st-22nd May, Spa-Francorchamps (B)
4th-5th June, Circuit Paul Ricard (F)
