The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the third test of the Winter Series, which will attract more than twenty cars. Twelve different nationalities represented on the entry list
The Euroformula Open begins its final preseason challenge at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The series makes its way to the renowned Grand Prix track for the final stop of the Winter Series after two hard fought events at Jerez and Paul Ricard. The French track hosted two races and now the final two-day event will be devoted to testing at the same track where the traditional season finale takes place.
RP Motorsport will enter five Dallara-built F312 cars for Italy´s Damiano Fioravanti, Thailand´s Kantadhee Kusiri and Polish duo Igor Walilko and Antoni Ptak. The fifth racer to drive the same car driven by Matteo Ferrer and Jack Aitken at Jerez and Le Castellet respectively is still to be announced.
Campos Racing has been off to an extremely successful start as the Alzira-based outfit took win in both races at Paul Ricard. Italian Leonardo Pulcini and Mexican Diego Menchaca emerged as the winners with Ecuadorean Julio Moreno also performing pretty well on his debut in the series. Its fourth car is still listed with TBA driver.
Teo Martín Motorsport and its drivers are emerging as a force in preseason testing and Colombian Tatiana Calderón already stepped onto the podium at Paul Ricard. BVM Racing returns to action with a two-car entry on Catalan soil. Russia´s Daniel Pronenko already proved his speed in previous Winter Series events and looks forward to gaining additional experience in the series.
