Jimmy Eriksson back with Arden for Jerez GP2 test

Jimmy Eriksson is set to resume GP2 testing activities with Arden International at Spain’s Circuito de Jerez this week.

Eriksson will return to GP2 action as the Formula 1 feeder series sets camp in Andalusia for its final pre-season test ahead of the May 13-15 curtain-raiser, again teaming up with Arden International for all three days of running (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Eriksson’s latest opportunity in GP2 comes less than three weeks after he undertook driving duties for the British squad in preceding Barcelona testing, going second fastest in the final session of that week.

“It’s great to be back with Arden for another test,” says Jimmy Eriksson. “We had three positive days together in Barcelona, and this is only a natural extension to that relationship. I’m fully focussed on making the best job possible here this week.”

Testing at Jerez gets underway tomorrow.
