Double R Joins the 2016 F4 Spanish Championship
The British team based in Woking has confirmed its participation in the maiden season of the 2016 F4 Spanish Championship.
Double R Racing led by Anthony “Boyo” Hieatt is today involved in the F4 British Championship certified by FIA and the British F3 Championship with significant results.
“The F4 championships certified by FIA are very good championships for young drivers. We are already present in the F4 British Championship and we would like to expand our team in that direction. The 2016 F4 Spanish Championship is therefore a very good opportunity for us. We love racing on Spanish circuits and we want to be part of a new challenge, so we are delighted to enter the maiden year of the F4 Spanish Championship certified by FIA,” commented Hieatt.
“It is very good to see that international teams as well known as Double R Racing are taking part in our championship. They have a long history in motorsport. Therefore their trust and support is important for us in these early days. We will have an interesting grid and we are very impatient to start the season,” commented Afa Heikkinen.
The first round of the 2016 F4 Spanish Championship will kick off on June 10th on Circuito de Navarra.
