Aaron Love Quickest In Damp Opening Practice

Team BRM’s Aaron Love was quickest in a damp opening practice session at Barbagallo Raceway for Round Three of the CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship. The local West Australian edged ahead of Team BRM teammate and CAMS Foundation Rising Star Simon Fallon in the 20 minute session, ahead of Round One winner Liam Lawson in third.

Overnight rain and early morning fog greeted crews upon arrival, with the track conditions dramatically improving throughout the session. The 13 racers were within one second in Australian Formula 4’s introductory laps around Barbagallo, with only Love, Nick Rowe and Ryan Suhle with previous experience at the circuit. JRD’s Jordan Mazzaroli was the first to split Team BRM in fourth, with Newcastle driver Sage Murdoch the quickest AGI Sport driver, and Dubbo’s Tyler Everingham the fastest Zagame Autosport racer.

Practice Two will commence from 11:25am AWST, with live Twitter commentary at @Formula4AU / #F4AU and live television coverage on Fox Sports 5 (506).
