Harrison Scott (RP Motorsport) Flies to Pole Position on Sunday

Briton Scott conquered his fifth pole of the season ahead of Troitskiy (Drivex) by a very narrow margin. DeFrancesco (Carlin), Martínez (Teo Martín Motorsport) and Hyman (Campos Racing) rounded out the top five.

Harrison Scott (RP Motorsport) sealed yet another pole positon for race 2 at the Hungaroring. Great Britain’s Scott carried the pace into the second qualifying session and held provisional pole position after the first runs. At the end, he still needed to improve his time but clocked a 1:36.130, beating Russia’s Nikita Troitskiy (Drivex) to pole position by a mere 78-thoousandths-of-a-second. In fact, it was another qualifying thriller as the top ten cars were covered by less than a second.

Behind, Canadian Devlin DeFrancesco (Carlin) is set to start third alongside Eliseo Martínez (Teo Martín Motorsport) on row two. Raoul Hyman and Simo Laaksonen made it an all Campos Racing row three ahead of his teammate Thiago Vivacqua. Vivacqua took seventh spot on the grid ahead of Alex Karkosik (RP Motorsport). Further adrift, Ameya Vaidyanathan and Petru Florescu completed the top 10 for Carlin and Fortec Motorsports respectively.
