2017 Spanish F4 Championship – Marta Garcia to Compete in Full Season

Spaniard Marta Garcia entered the last four rounds of the 2016 F4 Spanish Championship certified by FIA, constantly increasing her performances to be recognized as one of the best female driver ever in motorsport history. She will take the F4 Spanish Championship up again in 2017, teaming up with MP Motorsport, the Series reigning squad from Netherlands and has been signed to integrate Renault Sport Academy alongside Christian Lundgaard (2017 SMP F4 NEZ Championship), Jarno Opmeer (2016 SMP F4 NEZ Championship runner-up) among others.

At 16, Marta Garcia already has an extended karting background, as she finished fourth in the 2016 European CIK-FIA OK Championship and ninth in WSK OK Super Masters in 2016. She also won the 2015 CIK-FIA Academy Trophy.

In autumn 2016, the young Spanish driver entered the F4 Spanish Championship certified by FIA after having a strong winter preparation in the FIA F4 Tatuus-Abarth car. Her results went constantly higher to finish 8th overall in four events only.

2017 will be the beginning of a new era for Marta Garcia, as Renault Sport Academy signed the Spaniard to integrate their program started in 2016.
