Thursday, 11th July/Monday, 15th July 2019 – Porto, Street Art
Street art seems to be very much a thing of the moment, and I’d heard rumours that Porto had quite a lot. It may well do, but we really didn’t find much on this trip. Perhaps we were looking in the wrong places, perhaps it’s all behind the scaffolding so many buildings are currently enveloped in. What we did find was intriguing and ranged from the massive blue cat to some tiny figures on a wall in one of the older and more obscure byways.
For anyone who is interested, here is a selection!
And not so much a wall painting as some figures painted an odd range of colours!
Hello.
Art is art, was in on walls or in gallerias. I love the second photo from the top – cat. Thank You showing these.
Have a wonderful day!

My pleasure. I’ve become increasingly fascinated by street art in the last year or so. Kiev was especially interesting.

An interesting city. The cat is my favorite too.

The cat is fabulous, isn’t it? The only problem with it is getting far enough back to photograph it!

You may not have found much, but that cat is pretty splendid.
